FAQ

  • Date & Time of ceremony

The ceremony will start at 4pm. We ask that you would be 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you won’t have to rush anywhere. Parking is available close to the chapel.

  • Dress Code

We suggest Semi-Formal classic attire. For our wedding, think classic and polished—but no need to go full black tie! Gentlemen, a suit or blazer with dress pants and a button-down shirt is perfect (ties are welcome but not required). Ladies, a cocktail dress, jumpsuit, or a nice blouse with a skirt or dress pants will fit right in. Just aim for something dressy and comfortable—you’ll be celebrating, dancing, and making memories with us all night!

  • Indoors or Outdoors?

Our ceremony will be held indoors, inside the Emerson’s Chapel. The cocktail hour, and after dinner we will be outside if the weather upholds.

  • Travel & Accommodations

We know some of our guests will be traveling from out of town, and while we don’t have a specific hotel recommendation, we suggest checking out local Airbnb options—they often offer more comfort and charm than traditional hotels in the area.

  • Drinks & Dinner

During cocktail hour, 6Forks will be serving a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres while the bar is open and ready to pour our favorite drinks, beer, and classic options like soda and water. For dinner, we’re having a buffet-style spread of pizza and salad.

  • Guests

While we adore your little ones, we kindly ask that only children from our immediate families attend the celebration. If you're hoping to bring a guest, please reach out to us first to confirm, as space is limited and we want to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably. Thank you so much for your understanding!

  • Schedule

For guests not in the wedding party, here’s a look at the flow of events: we’ll begin with the ceremony, followed by cocktail hour, then move into our first dances. After that, we’ll go inside and enjoy dinner, hear a few heartfelt speeches, cut the cake, and dance the night away before our grand exit at 10 PM.
